Activities

The candidate will join the “Global Demand & Supply Planning” team and will have the chance to be more and more independent throughout the internship in managing project and activities such as:

• Effective complex data analyzing and reporting
• Development and implementation of root cause analysis models
• Improvement & automation of reporting systems (daily/weekly/monthly)
• Building and monitoring of KPI dashboards that support the regional/global review and decision making (PowerBI / Excel)
• Support in the preparation of GS&OP meetings and of Long Term Planning Process
• Ad hoc analysis on Demand and Supply topics
• Analysis and design of statistic models in SAP/APO

Training objectives

• Knowledge of the organizational model and the different commercial strategies of the markets in scope
• Understanding of the notions linked with the demand forecast and its implications vs other functions

Skills to be acquired

The candidate will be able to learn the dynamics and the complexity of a structured context in a large-scale distribution, with a focus on process and activities in the supply chain

IT Skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel and PowerBI are mandatory)

Fluency in English.
