Sr. R&D Product Engineer

A Day in the Life

• Knowledge and clear understanding of development, testing and performance characterization of hollow fibers and membrane technologies for single use device for dialysis, their application and related production processes
• Working with SAP software, assigning and managing material and product codes registry for R&D product codes
• Drafting and management of specification and/or drawings and bill of materials in SAP and Windchill PLM software
• Working with process development engineers onsite to ensure that products are optimally designed for manufacturing and assuring successful completion of Design Transfer
• Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots and provides technical skills during research and/or product development
• Activities include designing product and process improvements, prototyping, DHF documentation drafting and issuing
• Experience in design control and related applicable ISOs and guidelines
• Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
• Coordinates with other departments, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project completion
• Coaching and mentoring other engineers on the team to achieve final target, reviews and delegates work to lower level specialists
  
  

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) or Master’s degree (MS), Industrial Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university.
• min. 7 years of relevant experience in membrane science and/or filtration/cleaning knowledge
  
  

Nice To Have

• SAP and Windchill management knowledge
• Product Life Cycle system and Design Control product development experience
• Knowledge of plastic materials and related application
• Team working attitude
• Project Leading skill
• Fluent in English
• Agile knowledge
• Minitab or similar statistic tools knowledge
