Plant Controller - #10519376

Barilla G. & R. Fratelli is looking for a Plant Controller within the Finance unit. The position, based at our Headquarter in Parma, will report to the Plant Controlling Manager.

Job Purpose

The role serves as the finance point of reference for the French Supply Chain, acting as a bridge between the Plant Controlling team, the Logistics team, Region finance, and category finance. It provides a full comprehension of the economic results and supports plant and market in the decision-making process in the medium and long term. The role guarantees the cost planning and controlling of Western Europe logistics costs with all planning and controlling accountabilities.

Key Accountabilities

Support the Finance function management in product costing, particularly by:

• Ensuring the alignment of products costing with physical process and FCA/RCA target.
• Performing monthly closure and providing accurate reporting managing all the variance analysis by developing the full breakdown of the cost components and ensuring the accuracy of the result at plant and product level.
• Running forecast and budget processes in coordination with the plant team
  
  
  

Support the Finance function management in manufactuting, particularly by:

• Monitoring BOM alignment between manufacturing and costing in coordination with RDQ and packaging departments.
• Guarateeing the alignment between economical results and system otucomes.
• Supporting the continuous improvement team to track projects and Cost Deployment process.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration or Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in similar positions (for example, Administration area or Supply Chain).
• Familiarity with SAP ECC and EPM (Power BI is a plus).
• Fluent English.
• Ability to prioritize with analytical mindset and excellent communication skills at anly level.
