For one of our important Client in the Luxury Hospitality sector, we are looking for a Director of Sales Milan.

You will be the 'ambassador' of these unique lifestyle Collection of hotels.

Key Responsibilities

· Strategic Sales Leadership: Create and execute sales strategies to boost revenue and market share across luxury and non-luxury properties, including real estate where relevant. Collaborate with the executive team to establish sales targets, goals, and performance metrics in line with the company's overarching business strategy.

· Team Management and Development Lead, mentor a high-performing team, fostering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement driven by KPIs. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.

· Market Analysis and Positioning: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in luxury hospitality and real estate, including short and medium-term rental potential.

  • Utilize insights to position our luxury properties effectively, ensuring a competitive edge.
  • Manage global sales strategy by aligning actions with feeder markets.
  • Implement strategic technologies for in-depth market analysis, including real estate.
  • Plan, execute, and manage sales with set ROI targets.
  • Proactively manage CRM platform to generate leads and maintain business.
  • Analyze and execute possible MICE actions for unique event space presence.

· Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, luxury travel agents, partners, and influencers. Enhance brand visibility and network by representing the company at industry events and networking functions.

· Revenue Generation: Drive sales efforts to exceed revenue targets by focusing on room bookings, events, and other revenue streams, implementing effective pricing and promotional strategies, and supervising the revenue and reservation strategy to ensure constant inventory availability.

· Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales strategies, providing regular updates and reports on sales performance to the executive team

Qualifications

· Proven sales track record with a strong knowledge & network of the ultra luxury hospitality market and client

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills to attract high-end clients and partnerships.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.

· Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to maintain the hotel's reputation.

· Bachelor's degree in hospitality management

· 4 to 6 years in a Sales Director role in a luxury hotel environment

· Multi-property/cluster experience is a plus.

· Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Italian and English
