The Automotive Products Group in Johnson Electric provides innovative motion and electrification solutions to over 70 different applications inside the latest Internal Combustion Engine vehicles, Hybrid vehicles and All-Electric vehicles. To further develop our Powertrain Cooling Business Unit Automotive Product Group we are looking for a Project Manager to join the Program Management team in Asti, Italy.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage internal projects to improve profitability of the Business Unit (e.g.: implement cost reduction activities, execute Product Line VAVE plans.)
• Manage customer projects starting from the RFQ phase until successful in roduction in serial production
• Act as the main contact point for customers and cross-functional teams in the given project
• Drive the project timeline to achieve internal and customer milestones
• Work in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality departments, Operations, C&S and Supply Chain to define the scope of work
• Take responsibility for risk management as well as for compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements
• Escalate major project risks to Senior Management (e.g.: customer complaints, delays in component procurement, etc.)
  
  

Our requirements:

• Msc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Ideally 5 to 10 years' work experience in development and customer projects preferably within the automotive industry
• Results-driven individual, teamwork oriented, planning, and organizational skills, pro-active
• Fluency in English is a must; any other language represents a plus
• Availability to frequent travels
• Excellent written and oral communication skills & problem-solving abilitie
• Interact well with different people and be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
